[WH] Gear!

Hi all,

Assuming that I want to continue running with a "max DPS output" build, what gear template do you suggest?

Key criteria:


Has to work with my puny renown (RR32!)
Has to be a relatively "easy" to obtain (i.e. no super rare items, because I won't get the play-time to farm endlessly for them)
Should push my Str as high as possible
Since I am so utterly clueless about lewt in this game, please assume that any advice is helpful!

since you're 1 renown away from full annihilator finally i suggest stick to that or mix it up with few pieces of sentinel that you might already have.

you should actually get to conqueror sooner than you might expect.

Get to Lotd and grind some tombs, they will give you the jewels+cape you need for the burst build. with a good group it shouldnt take you long to get 12 silver anks (i can do 3 tombs with glyphs PQs in 2-3 hours).

The easiest way to get weapons is the buy them from AH, that or again grind tombs.

Armour: just stay with the renown gear(anni, conq, invader...try and get the elf tier 4, 2. inf reward shoulders (it should give +2% crit)).

Try and max str to 1000 and then stack crit.

I've actually only been to tombs once and (luckily) won the handcannon of Nagash, so I'm pretty happy with my pistol atm (in fact, it's the only piece of gear I'm currently content with!). Are there also WH swords worth farming for?

Should already have the inf for elf T4 (did a fair bit of PQ grinding there as I pushed to 40), so I'll check out the rewards.

Is there no real reason to farm for the PvE sets? I'm delighted to stick with renown armour, but do I miss out on anything tasty?

Str is (even with my horrible gear) already almost 750 - shouldn't be too much trouble to get up to 1,000.

Time/effort vs gain on pve dungeons to get gear is very low. i have run the whole of LV around 15-16 times and left+right wing even more times and i still dont have a single item of dark promise on konfuz. Again you could be lucky and get the whole set the first time you go Pve.

Its better to do orvr/sc's for gear until you hit invader.
