Quick Death Slayer. /

Does anyone else have a slayer?.
And have the same problem i´ve got ?. that you die really really fast if you get more then 2 mobs on you.....it kinda sucks :moo: does that change later on in the game? would really like if it does:banana:

I played a slayer to lvl 8, and found them to be very similar to leveling a bright wizard i.e you die a lot ;) but they're uber dps and with some decent gear in tier4 they're ace. they're great if u get into a premade scenario group with a bright wizard - you'll do awesome damage. But tbh they're very squishy and it's no different in tiers 3&4. If u can put up with that fact till u get good gear you'll have a lot of fun

But hopefully this doesn't suprise you, I mean...

You're playing a class that uses traffic-wombles colors for hairdye, has a deathwish that would make Al-Qaida salivate in their boots, and whose armor consists of boots, shorts,belt, bracelets, headband and shoulder ribbons.

I mean you show more skin than the average miss universe contender.


You hit, you kill, you die, you get raised...and then you GET EVEN!

Get a nice tank to guard you, will help some.

Just a thought, when you get up in lvls (around lvl20-22) try this:

Run with full DPS build, pure strength, Weapon Skill and the like. Go do some fixed PvE bit and take note of survival.

Go respec for tougness with RR and slot as many armor talis as you can (I, and several other guildies can make them) - go back to the same PvE and see waht it does for survival

Then you can juggle the balance between DPS and Survivability till you're pleased with it.

But you'll never match a tank or healer for survivability, healers can heal through most single enemy dps and tanks can(when speced right) survive anything but a direct meteor hit for a while. Pure DPS'er are like cardboard in comparison.

And they should be, otherwise all you'd have are healers and DPS'ers.

When you get to the higher lvls ther are some pocket items that can abosrb melee/magic damage. But slayers will never be known for survivability.
