Hi all,

I received a request last night to clarify the guild's policy on introduction posts made on these forums (in the "Guild Applications" sub-forum).

While we strongly encourage any new member to come to the forums and post an introduction, it is not a requirement for invitation to the guild.

An introductory post here lets a large number of guildies find out a bit about each new member and (hopefully) provides a starting point for some initial conversations in guild chat. The idea is to help new members feel part of our community as quickly and as easily as possible.

These introductions were never designed to be a barrier to entry - if you have someone you think would fit intot the guild, please invite them immediately. After invite, request that they visit the forums to tell everyone a little bit about themselves.

If anyone is unclear about the guild policy for invitations (or, indeed, any other guild policy!) please feel free to ask for clarification. :)

hello :)

didn't have permission to post a new thread so was wondering how to post an intro... post (i've used the word post too many times)

being playing WAR for a while (altoholic i'm afraid) joined Blade & Quill with 2 dwarves IB Thain & Eng Guthvin & was asked to sign up to the site

er... intro's are always difficult, i always feel awkward & self conscious... english student, like to deconstruct movies (never miss mark kermode's movie review R5L), read wide range of books & some comic books (recently latest league of extraordinary gentlemen), interested in football if only to moan about how uncompetitive its become... heck i'm really boring... sorry

You can post a new "introduction" thread over in this forum:

http://immune-systems.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=23

It's a standard form that shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes for you to fill out, but will give the rest of the guild a good feel for you and your character(s).

I've bumped up your forum access levels anyhow, so you should be able to read and post in all of the "guild only" forums now.

Welcome! :)

Always good to have more Dwarfs in the guild - welcome aboard mate. We've spoken in-game briefly. Hope you enjoy the guild.

Hi Shane and welcome aboard!

Vent is full of snarling misanthropes who abuse auto-talk functions and harass upstanding guildies. Join in quick otherwise you'll miss out!

warbands, king kill groups and instances are all run from vent, only pBaz bites, but that's what the mute function is for.
