Ding ding!

<Blade and Quill> have dinged Guild Level 30, moving us into the final stretch for guild level.

The next few levels bring us really exciting rewards for the guild (teleport scrolls to Bastion Stair, teleport scrolls to Lost Vale, the fastest mounts in the game, etc). Guild level 30 also marks our graduation into a pretty select club of guilds as there are only around 20 order guilds that can boast such high level and most of these guilds are either very small, super-hardcore guilds or have gone inactive. For such a large, active, casual-friendly guild as ourselves to reach this guild level is a strong testament to the hard work of all our members.

From our newest T1 recruits to our long-serving (long-suffering? ;)) T4 officers, you have all helped push our guild up to this new rank. Every scrap of XP you earn helps contribute to guild level and you should all feel proud of this achievement. Guild level 32 is the next big target for us (with the Bastion Stair teleport scrolls).

Congratulations, <Blade and Quill>! Onwards!

And at Guild Rank 33 we get an extra vault in the Guild Vault, which will be good! :D

Pretty neat!

Dungeons seem to net a great deal of guild experience. I got a 30K tick for an N'Kari kill, but I'm not sure whether that was for the entire dungeon or just for the big gal herself. I assume the ticks are individual - so a single Vale run could produce a ton of GXP.

killing mobs higher then ur lvl gives more guild experience i think, so yes the vale should give some xp

but mostly have some diehard rvrers in the guild produces experience like crazy

i also heard rumour that inactive accounts (like alts) slow down the lvling progress, no official note on this found yet tough

LV generates fantastic amounts of Guild XP.

A claimed keep in T4 generates fantastic amounts of Guild XP.

RvR kills generate good amounts of Guild XP.

PvE kills generate moderate amounts of Guild XP.

Truly inactive characters (i.e. those that never log in) do nothing to slow down guild XP gain. However, characters that do log in but don't really do much (i.e. not killing mobs, or enemies, or dungeon running, etc) generate drag on our Guild XP gain. Basically, Guild XP is related to the amount of XP generated by all logged in characters, divided by the number of characters logged in.

So, when I log in (and spend all my time sending /tells and taking care of guild admin crap! ;)), we probably see a huge decrease in our Guild XP gain. Nerf me. :(
