The first ever guild officer meeting was held last night (Monday 26th January, 2009), with a good attendance and a wide range of topics discussed.
To really summarise the 70 minutes of discussion, I would like to post the "Guild Goals" that were detailed during the meeting. These goals define the future aspirations that we have for <Blade and Quill> and these are the goals that every officer was asked to push on. In no particular order, they are:
Create a great environment that enhances our members' enjoyment of the game
Maintain our position as the single largest community of players on the server
Grow our renown rankings and be recognised as one of the dominant RvR guilds on the server
Develop the leadership capabilities of our officersAs our guild evolves and develops, we will always be moving towards meeting these objectives. If you think you can do anything to help the guild achieve these goals, please just do it! :)
So, if anyone ever asks you what B&Q are all about... Now you know!
My thanks go to all officers who attended and contributed to the discussion. I took away two things to arrange: firstly, to set up an officer forum here (this is now done, please PM me to request access if you are an officer and can't see this forum); and secondly, to arrange a whole-of-guild "town hall" style meeting. I promise that this large meeting will be arranged soon!
